If there is a change in discharge in smell or in color or there is an itching sensation in the clit it can be the clit swelling. There can be discomfort in passing water and during sex. The swelling can be because of the infection in the Bartholin's gland. The Bartholin's glands are located on each side of the clit.
The treatment and the prevention:
It is a saying that the prevention is better than cure. The prevention of the clit swelling is easy but thee treatment is a little difficult. You should use the washed undergarments to protect your clit from infection. Try having a safe sex. Generally the clit swelling automatically goes down, but if it does not go down than it is better to consult the physician then to treat it at home.
