Testicles, in the medical terms are called the testes and the testis in singular. The testicles are a very important sexual organ and it also exists in all other mammal. In mammals the testicles are located outside the body and they are suspended by the spermatic cord and within the scrotum. When this muscle contracts, the spermatic cord is shortened and the testicle
is moved closer and up towards the body. It is common that one testicle to hang lower than the other. The testicles same as the ovaries are component of both the reproductive system and the endocrine system. The primary function of the testicles is to produce the sperms and producing the male sex hormones like testosterone. Both of these functions of the testis, sperm-forming and endocrine, are under the control of hormones called gonadotropic.

But if you are confident to heal the swelling at home then you can use the herbs like chamomile to reduce the pain and swelling.
